1. Definitions

“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”: Refers to The Online Boiler Company, based in Glasgow, Scotland.

“Customer”, “You”, “Your”: Refers to the person or entity purchasing products or services from our website.

“Product/Service”: Refers to boilers, repair call-out fees, and boiler service arrangement fees supplied or coordinated by us.

“Third-Party Engineer”: Refers to the independent, self-employed heating engineers who handle physical delivery, installations, repairs, and servicing.

2. Scope of Service

We operate as an online boiler supply and service coordination company based in Glasgow.

We do not perform physical installations, repairs, or servicing directly. These hands-on services are carried out by independent, self-employed third-party engineers.

3. Delivery and Third-Party Handover

Boilers are delivered directly to your property by the independent third-party engineer on the scheduled day of installation.

We are not liable for any logistical delays or scheduling disputes handled by the independent contractor.

4. Installation and Independent Contractors

Installation, repair, and servicing works are performed exclusively by independent, self-employed engineers who are not agents or employees of The Online Boiler Company.

You pay the third-party engineer directly for their services. We accept no liability for the quality of workmanship, installation timelines, or separate agreements made between you and the engineer.

5. Pricing, Fees, and Payment

Boiler purchases, repair call-out fees, and boiler service arrangement fees must be paid in full through our online platform at the time of booking.

Labour and/or parts fees are paid directly to the third-party engineer upon completion of their work.

6. Cancellation, Notice, and Refund Policy

Method of Cancellation: All cancellations must be submitted formally in writing via email to our customer service team.

24-Hour Non-Refundable Period: No refunds will be offered for any cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery, installation, repair call-out, or service arrangement.

General Cancellation Fees: Depending on the circumstances and the timing of your cancellation, administrative or logistical fees may be charged for cancellations outside of the 24-hour window to cover incurred costs.

7. Non-Returnable Boiler Policy

Once the boiler or any other product is delivered, handed over to the third-party engineer, and integrated into your property’s central heating system, it becomes the permanent property of the customer and is strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

Due to the integrated nature of central heating systems, boilers cannot be returned or refunded once installation has commenced or the unit has been fitted.

8. Warranties and Faults

Boilers and any other products such as thermostatic remotes are supplied with the official manufacturer’s warranty, which requires installation by a qualified independent heating engineer holding appropriate registrations to remain valid.

Manufacturing faults identified post-installation must be directed through the manufacturer’s warranty framework.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the boiler or product fee paid directly to us.

We hold no liability for indirect losses, heating outages, property damage, or disputes arising from the work performed by independent engineers.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Scots law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
